Since 1960 this 70,000 m² facility has been the headquarters of the Fritzmeier Group. In addition to the series production of complete cabs, cladding parts and system assemblies out of steel, the location also houses all administration and central project management, and does the prototyping for the Cab group. Through regular investment we are continuously increasing the amount of automation at the plant, and the 290 people who work there are assisted by laser machines as well as automated bending, welding and grinding robots.

Fritzmeier Wels Österreich

The 13,000 m² plant in Wels has been part of the Fritzmeier Cab Group since 1967. This facility produces highly complex cabs with many variants, typically in small runs. With about 100 staff Fritzmeier Wels is the smallest, but variant-richest member of the Group.

Fritzmeier Vyskov Tschechien
Fritzmeier Vyškov, Brno (CZ)

Fritzmeier acquired the 22,000 m² Vyškov plant near Brno in the Czech Republic in 1999. It has since grown to 77,000 m² to become one of the Fritzmeier Cab Group’s largest and most modern production locations. Here, safety structures are welded and complete cabs assembled. Currently the plant employs over 560 people. Among other machines, it has a tube and 5-axis laser, a deep-draw press and multiple welding robots, as well as a cataphoretic dip coating facility.

Fritzmeier Banovce Slowakei
Fritzmeier Bánovce (SVK)

This 7000 m² plant was founded in 2005 as an extended workbench for Vyškov. In addition to subassemblies for later welding into entire cabs at Vyškov, the plant also makes complete safety structures for other plants. Along with 40 welding boxes for the 90 or so employees, the facility has a digital measuring system, CNC milling machine and several press brakes.

Fritzmeier Sibiu
Fritzmeier Engineering, Sibiu (RO)

In 2002 Fritzmeier founded this 29,000 m² plant in Sibiu, Romania. Today it specializes in lightweight components. All told, 350 highly qualified specialists work here, aided by the latest aluminium welding robots and tube laser machines.
This number includes some 70 engineers who design complete cabs, system modules and cladding parts. The resulting CAD data is checked early on through repeated FE calculations and ergonomics software.
Through the parallel development of cabs, tools, equipment, and test devices including calculation by specialist teams, development time and thus time to market can be reduced.

Joint Venture in India

Fritzmeier Motherson Cabin Engineering (FMCEL), Chennai (IND)

In 2007 Fritzmeier Systems GmbH and Samvardhana Motherson Group in Chennai, India set up the joint venture FMCEL, which currently has 380 employees. The facility offers the complete process chain from concept to fully equipped cab, and specializes in the manufacture of driver cabs for heavy-duty tippers, excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, wheel loaders and agricultural tractors. Alongside cabs, FMCEL also makes lightweight fabrication parts for construction machinery in India, Southeast Asia and the SAARC region. FMCEL’s high-tech products meet demanding international safety requirements for ROPS (Roll Over Protective Structure) and FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structure).
