A second CLOOS robot welding station for side panels is currently being installed in Großhelfendorf.

With two stations, the welding cell offers a flexible production process with short set-up times. The two robots, each with 7 axes, are each supplemented by a 3-axis workpiece positioner. This ensures that the welded components can always be welded in the optimum welding position.

The use of a special laser sensor system, the combination of a laser offline sensor for weld start determination and the arc sensor for subsequent seam guide, enables compliance with the high quality requirements of our customers. This investment ensures type-flexible production with higher quantities. The use of ergonomic workpiece positioning axes provides additional support for the machine operator.

Production is expected to start at the end of October 2021.
